By day I am an academic pharmacist based in the Los Angeles area who is responsible for the clinical training of student pharmacists. I have served on the Board of Directors for the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists and for the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

I've always had a passion and interest in woodworking that dates back to my formative years. Initially I learned how to create functional pieces back in middle school, but it wasn't until adulthood when I realized that I could apply a sense of artistry and personality to woodworking.

Initially I began with cutting boards and have branched off to more complex designs including adirondack-inspired designs (eg, chairs and benches), bed frames and inkwells. I'm attracted to hard woods for their natural beauty and durability. In addition to continuing these designs for sale, I am always interested in new projects whatever the occasion.
